Dear Photographer,
You made the picture. You know the light, you waited for the moment, and you brought it home. Instagram gave you a heart — but you shoot for something deeper than that. We are writing to you because we want to help your festival photography reach the people who can put it in a magazine.
There is a particular joy in holding a magazine and finding your own photograph inside it. And a rarer one still: when a friend, thousands of feet up, opens the airline magazine mid-flight and later tells you, “I saw your picture, and your name.”
Passion Needs Validation
For most of us, this isn’t a job — it’s a passion. We would never call it a burden, but passion still needs the occasional signal that says yes, you’re on the right path.
Likes are fleeting. A far stronger validation is an editor choosing your frame for their publication. A stranger deciding your work is good enough to print feeds the passion in a way a social feed never can.
How It Works
We have built a simple, free pipeline to connect your work with editors looking for festival imagery:
- SHARE YOUR SHOTS: Send us your best frames from India’s festivals. We aggregate them into organized collections.
- WATERMARKED PREVIEWS: Editors browse the collections as watermarked previews. Your work is always protected at this stage.
- EDITOR SELECTION: If an editor selects a shot, they request the original from us for their feature.
- DELIVERY: We email the original to the editor and keep you in CC, so you always see exactly where and by whom your work is being used.
Our Promise to You
Your work stays yours. You grant us permission for editorial and non-commercial placement through our network, and that is the extent of it. Travebrate will never use your images for commercial purposes, ads, or paid products.
Every time an original file is sent, you are in the loop. The recognition is yours; we simply facilitate the connection. We require every editor to run your work with the following courtesy line:
> Photograph: [Your Name] via Travebrate
Your name leads. Ours simply notes who made the introduction.
If you are ready to get your work in print, reach out and we will explain how to share your collection. There is no fee and no exclusivity.
Yours,
The Travebrate Team
