Dear Editor,

Anyone can generate an AI image now. But you know a real, first-hand photograph is what makes a reader stop, trust, and stay. We bring you a fresh load of festival imagery from India’s finest content creators — yours to run, with a simple courtesy credit and no money involved.

AI can conjure a festival that never happened. Stock libraries hand you the same picture, every year. A photograph taken on the ground last week is the one thing neither can offer — and the one your readers can feel.

The Value of an Original Image

As generated and recycled imagery floods every feed, the currency that actually holds attention is authenticity. Readers are quietly learning to distrust the too-perfect, the seen-before. An original frame — a real face, real light, a moment that happened — is what keeps them hooked.

Yet festival coverage so often falls back on the same free-library shots pulled from Unsplash or Pexels, republished year after year until they’re invisible. We are offering a better option: first-hand photographs with new angles, shot this season, and cleared for you to publish.

Who We Are

Travebrate plans journeys timed to India’s living festivals — we track over 300 of them across the year, and we are on the ground for them. That puts us alongside the country’s most talented festival photographers.

We’ve turned that network into something we can hand to editors: a growing library of original festival imagery, with the photographers’ blessing to publish in our connected publications, free of charge.

How It Works

  1. BROWSE THE DRIVES: We maintain organized drives of festival imagery. Search for your festival (Holi, Rath Yatra, Theyyam, Pushkar, and more) and browse the watermarked previews.
  2. REQUEST FRAMES: Pick the images that fit your feature and send us the request.
  3. WE EMAIL ORIGINALS: We reply with the full-resolution, unwatermarked originals, keeping the photographer in CC so it’s clear where their work is being used.
  4. PUBLISH WITH CREDIT: Run the image with a dual credit naming the photographer and us. No licensing fee, no paperwork chain.

A Fair Exchange, Three Ways

  • FOR THE EDITOR: Fresh, authentic imagery your readers haven’t seen, delivered ahead of the date at no cost.
  • FOR THE PHOTOGRAPHER: Recognition and reach in a real publication, encouraging emerging creators.
  • FOR TRAVEBRATE: A quiet credit line — the only return we seek for connecting the two.

The Courtesy Credit

The only thing we ask is a visible credit naming the photographer and Travebrate, and where appropriate, a link to travebrate.com.

Tell us the festivals or the story you’re working on, and we will open the relevant drives and walk you through requesting frames.

Yours,

Harshitha
